The Story Behind Al Toque
Where the lively spirit of Oceanside meets authentic Peruvian flavor.
Born from friendship, passion, and years of culinary hustle—from
farmers markets and pop-ups to our beloved brick-and-mortar—our story
is as vibrant and fresh as the dishes we serve. At Al Toque, we're
here to show you what happens when dreams meet determination (spoiler:
it's delicious).

From Dreamers to Doers
For Stephen Garcia, Angelo Luna, and Rhandy Heredia, what started as
playful banter over video games quickly evolved into something
special. "Al Toque," Peruvian slang meaning "right away," symbolizes
their fast-paced journey—always hungry, always moving, no shortcuts
allowed. After over five years of dedicated hustle, these three
friends-turned-family have brought their vision of vibrant Peruvian
street eats to Oceanside, inviting the community to share in their
flavors, culture, and unshakeable energy.
We believe in doing things right.
